Joseph J. Rizzotto
B.A (Hons), M.A., LL.B.

Joseph Rizzotto leads the Rizzotto team with his vision of a professional personal injury law practice. With over 12 years of personal injury experience Joseph Rizzotto's guiding force and dedication to educating clients and empowering them to understand their rights, has been the key to his success and the satisfaction of his clients.

Joseph was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1994. He graduated from McMaster University with an Honours B.A. in 1973 and from Carleton University with a M.A. in 1983. He received his LL.B. from the University of Windsor Law School in 1991. He is presently completing his LL.M. in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School.

As well as being a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada, he is an active member with the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society, the Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Canadian Italian Advocates Organization.

JAMES M. GALAN
B.A.,J.D.,LL.B.

James joined the Rizzotto Law Firm following his call to the Bar. He is a strong litigator who will take cases to trial to ensure that every client is fully and completely compensated for their injuries.

He graduated with a B.A. from the University of Toronto, St. Michael’s College.  He also received an LL.B from the Faculty of Law at Ottawa University and a J.D. from Michigan State University’s, College of Law.  While at Michigan State University, he was awarded the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for that school’s competitive negotiation class.

James is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada and an active member with the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society, the Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

Frank Chiodo
Paralegal

Frank has been a valuable member of the Rizzotto team since joining the firm in 2004. Before Frank began practicing as a Paralegal, he had extensive knowledge in the insurance industry. As a former registered licensed insurance broker, Frank understands the inner workings of the insurance industry.

Frank is a member of the Professional Paralegal Associate of Ontario and the Paralegal Society of Ontario.

Frank keeps up his keen knowledge in the personal injury field by regularly attending continuing legal education seminars by the Law Society of Upper Canada and workshops. He has concrete knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule.

PINA FABBRO
Director of Administration & Marketing

Pina has been employed in the legal field for over 20 years. She has been with Mr. Rizzotto for the last 8 years helping build a thriving, caring personal injury firm. She is responsible for human resources, finance, facilities, technology and whatever other challenges cross her path. She is also spear-heading marketing for the firm, dealing with advertising and business development

Pina is an active member of the Toronto Law Office Management Association and on her off hours enjoys the challenges of her two teenage daughters.  

Marie Attard
Law Clerk

Marie is a civil litigation law clerk who joined the Rizzotto Law team in 2003.  She graduated with her Law Clerk Diploma from Humber College in 2001 and also graduated from the PCDI Paralegal Program in 2004. Marie draws upon her vast experience from a downtown litigation boutique to assist our firm’s senior counsel in a variety of tasks associated with complex plaintiff personal injury litigation and insurance related matters.  

Cathy Vashishth
Law Clerk

Cathy is a senior accident benefits co-ordinator who joined the Rizzotto law team in 2006.  She graduated with her Law Clerk Diploma from Humber College in 1982 and has spent the last 24 years specializing in the area of personal injury law.  She ensures that our clients achieve the maximum benefits possible by working with insurance companies, health care providers and assisting with community re-entry and rehabilitation. She also works to mediate and resolve disputes with insurers.
