Joseph J. Rizzotto
B.A (Hons), M.A., LL.B., LL.M.
Joseph Rizzotto leads the Rizzotto Law Firm team with his vision
of a professional personal injury law practice. With over 16 years
of experience in personal injury law, Joseph Rizzotto's guiding
force and dedication to educating clients and empowering them to
understand their rights has been the key to his success and the
satisfaction of his clients.
Joseph represents victims in all areas of personal injury litigation,
including motor vehicle collisions, wrongful deaths, slip/trip and
falls, occupiers and premises liability, insurance and disability
claims, products liability, professional negligence, and wrongful
dismissal claims.
He has appeared at trials, arbitrations, hearings and appeals in the
Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Financial
Services Commission of Ontario, the Criminal Injuries Compensation
Board and the Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunal. In addition
to extensive advocacy and courtroom experience, Joseph has
represented hundreds of clients at settlement conferences and
mediations. It is a cornerstone of Joseph’s practice to
focus on the entire dispute resolution continuum for the betterment
and empowerment of his clients.
Joseph commenced his post-secondary studies at McMaster University
receiving an Honours B.A. in 1973 graduating magna cum laude.
Joseph was awarded the Honour M Award which recognized his
volunteer contributions, leadership and special achievements in
undergraduate extra-curricular activities. He went on to post
graduate studies and obtained a M.A. in Political Science from
Carleton University in 1983.
Joseph received his LL.B. from the University of Windsor Law School
in 1991. He was presented the J.W. Whiteside Award as a
member of the graduating class in recognition of his volunteer and
extra-curricular services to the Faculty of Law, the legal community
and the community of Windsor. Joseph was admitted to the Law Society
of Upper Canada in 1994. While practicing law and founding his law
firm, Joseph continued his studies and was awarded a LL.M. (Civil
Litigation and Dispute Resolution) from Osgoode Hall Law School (York
University) in 2008.
As well as being a member in good standing of the Law Society of
Upper Canada, Joseph is a member of the Bar Dispute Resolution Group
Forum at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Canadian
Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society, the Toronto Lawyers
Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Canadian
Italian Advocates Organization.

Elinor Shinehoft
B.A., J.D.
Elinor graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction, and then went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. She also has a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College.
Since her call to the Ontario Bar in 2002, Elinor's focus has been litigation. Her current practice consists of plaintiff's side personal injury law, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, product liability, occupiers and premises liability, long term disability, and CPP disability. Elinor is also a Notary Public and has experience in wrongful dismissal.
She has attended the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on numerous occasions, as well as resolved disputes through the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), negotiation and private mediations.
Elinor's main goals are to help injured clients obtain fair compensation for their injuries and economic losses; and to ensure that clients will gain a better understanding of their legal rights and options, and feeling that they were provided with good advice and service.
Elinor is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Advocates' Society, and Toronto Lawyers Association.

Frank Chiodo
Paralegal
Frank has been a valuable member of the Rizzotto team since
joining the firm in 2004. Before Frank began practicing as a
Paralegal, he had extensive knowledge in the insurance industry. As a
former registered licensed insurance broker, Frank understands the
inner workings of the insurance industry.
Frank is a Licensed Paralegal and a member of the Law Society of
Upper Canada.
Frank keeps up his keen knowledge in the personal injury field by
regularly attending continuing legal education seminars by the Law Society
of Upper Canada and workshops. He has concrete knowledge of the
Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule.

PINA FABBRO
Director of Administration &
Marketing
Pina has been employed in the legal field for over 20 years. She
joined Mr. Rizzotto in 1999. In the last 10 years Pina has helped him
build a thriving, caring personal injury firm. She is responsible for
human resources, finance, facilities, technology and whatever other
challenges cross her path. She is also spear-heading marketing for the
firm, dealing with advertising and business development.
Pina is an active member of The Law Office Management Association
(TLOMA).

Marie Attard
Law Clerk
Marie is a civil litigation law clerk who joined the Rizzotto Law
team in 2003. She graduated with her Law Clerk Diploma from
Humber College in 2001 and also graduated from the PCDI Paralegal
Program in 2004. Marie draws upon her vast experience from a downtown
litigation boutique to assist our firm’s senior counsel in a
variety of tasks associated with complex plaintiff personal injury
litigation and insurance related matters.

Julian Pak
Personal Injury Consultant
Julian is a welcome addition to the Rizzotto Law Firm team. She
brings 10 years of advocacy experience focussing on Statutory
Accident Benefits, insurance disputes, highway traffic violations,
and impaired driving charges. Before joining the Rizzotto Law Firm,
Julian successfully managed her own consulting company, rendering
services in all these matters as well as in Family Law and
Immigration.
Julian is a respected and active member of the Korean community
and is fluent in the Korean language, both written and spoken.
She ensures that our clients achieve the maximum benefits and
compensation possible by working with insurance companies, health
care providers and assisting with rehabilitation.
